Universal Motors activity began in the year of 2003 to satisfy the market need in the area of electric motors to a wide range of Portuguese companies. Now has its main facilities in Vila do Conde and two distribution subsidiaries in England and Spain.
Since then, the range of products manufactured and traded has increase gradually and now is possible offer to market electric motors with outputs above 900kW, flameproof motors with ATEX certification, two-speed motors, brake motors, inverters, and control panels for electric motors command in its various forms and specifications.
Universal Motors is able to respond with flexibly to market requirements in deliveries deadline, in manufacture of motors with special voltage/frequency, motors to work with inverters and control panels.
The company has warehouses and extensive stock in 3 different countries, the workforce is provided with great experience and knowledge
